Thanks for the good comments guy's I am happy with the way it's coming along. I have now fixed the wheelhouse roof on it needs a bit of filler and a rub down and the it will be ready for a splash of paint. I have put together the bow winch which is ready for painting, I have placed things on to show an idea of how it's looking so far.

Regards Dave.

A bit more of the painting done, and I have also made a start on the raised platform leading to the wheelhouse. Getting there slowly.

OK today I fitted the rubber strip on the top of the bulwarks, next job will be to work on fitting some steps to help the crew get around.

Having looked at the height of the platform leading to the wheelhouse it to me looked to high, I checked on the plans for the wheelhouse and everything was spot on. I then looked on the plans I got for the layout and the wheelhouse was much lower, so after checking and rechecking I decided that it was to high. So in the end it turned out it needed to be 25mm lower so here it is and to me it looks far better....your thoughts.

Regards Dave.

I must get on with mine, but badly sliced my thumb at the weekend with a Stanley knife, only making a set of sails for someone, but 5 stitches later!!!
