As was my first visit to mayhem at wicksteed, Thanks to the Scots lads, Html, Steph and Phil, not forgetting Martin and all the others sorry i am not good at remembering all the names, for the great welcome.
Also special thanks to Martins other half and daughter for the coffees without which i would not have survived the day, and Phil for bringing back memories of long ago days at blackheath pond.
As i have been in and out of hospital for the last 4 months plus too many late nights getting the boat ready and hardly any sleep friday and saturday due to noisy wicksteed wildlife that think the dawn chorus starts at 3.30 am (thoughts of roast goose come to mind) only sorry i was too shattered to stop for the sunday as well and probably missed another great day.
