Hi Dave thanks for the offer, but that's what I've been busy doing today, still learning the art of casting but I'm getting there.

Crikey, you and Joe are pulling out all the stops with this quality work. Its coincidence that you are both mastering and moulding Ribs within days of each other!

Thanks, Gents,
Like Joe posting , the downfall of making your own fittings is the build time of each of my models is much longer. But much more enjoyable and satisfying.

But in the long term you have the ability to quickly make fittings for the future saving time :-))

Are your labels stickers or decals? I suppose that as the plates would have some thickness in real life, a sticker would not be such a problem as opposed to painted stencils which even 1:1 would be very thin.

They look top class lockers!

Unfortunately the warning labels are BECC . I've tried using water transfer paper to printed the labels but could not get a fine enough print result, so used BECC,s with a coat of satin varnish to finish off. This loses some of the thickness of the labels.

Gents, this will be my last post as I do not wish to clash with Joe's build of his Hunt, as it seems we both building the same subjects.

Dave keep posting your build, it matters not it's the same class, mine is 1988 yours is up to date with the modifications over the years, and we both build in different ways to achieve the same ends, so it would be a shame not to see yours taking shape, {:-{ plus yours will have the electronics/fiber optics etc. that make it even more interesting.  :-))

I'm in full agreement with Joe on this - great builds both. O0 Keep it going if you can Dave. :-)

....and there's 3 Smit Nederland builds on the go, all being tackled in different ways. :-))

Ray.
