) first things first, dump the safety guard
It will just get in the way of the tiny parts I intend to cut with it. Second, the drop in support plate, I have to remake that, the slots for the blade are too wide to support small items close to the blade.
Oh yes, this is out in my toolroom, God forbid I attempt to use that in the wife's art room- bad enough having my boat bench in there!
You might also see my chop saw to cut down big stuff and my years old bandsaw, up do date this is the most useful tool I have for cutting everything from timber to plastic to brass.
