new to yachts part 2

today i tried to purchase the thunder tiger victoria after seeing the build pics in this forum but was told that because of european law shops are unable to sell yachts at the moment if they contain any lead weight in them.is this correct

I think my weight is cast iron on my Victoria.

Evin if it is lead.
You can buy online from UK sources so I think you are bing given a lame excuse.

If I am right in thinking lead can stil be sold but it muts weigh more than 1oz as fishing leads are still available over 1oz but not under Stavros

if the eu is banning yachts because they contain lead, what next? lead isnt as harmful as they make it out.

you could contact hobby lobby or tower hobbies of the USA see if they ship international, or buy direct from thunder tiger

after a lot of phone calls and web searches i found the thunder tiger victoria for sale at aabt colloctables for 75.99 but after 3weeks still not arrived sent emails (no replys)phone them and all they say is it is on back order and cant give a date for delivery.why cant people tell you these things before they take your money :embarrassed:

call in trading standards and claim your money back.  call Steve webb models in frodsham or westbourne models in westbourne, or give amodelworld a call :)
