Newbie to the forums with a Najade rebuild
« on: August 02, 2015, 01:34:45 pm »

Hi Everyone, just joined today after searching around for some info on the Najade.

I just bought one on ebay, it's always been a model I liked, bit of a rough diamond but I now have it stripped to component parts. The deck was held together with dabs of expoxy and a lot of silicone so everything came apart easily enogh.

Anyway, anybody know where is the best place for 1:15 scale parts, I'll need a lot!

Thanks Kiz,

yes I'd seen it, a nice model although some bits weren't 100% authentic. His model building skills will almost certainly be better than mine, it's years since I built a boat, and I've picked up a good few pointers from the link.

I've spent the afternoon sanding/grinding off lumps of old epoxy so hopefully I can start rebuilding it next week.
