I had a Robbe Jan hull in the loft for a couple of years, and decided to build another Danube on it ,as it really is a nicely made hull.
The rubbing band was too wide so using the good old Dremel with a cutting disc I reduced the width by a half. then made up the deck beams by laminating 5 layers if 10 x 3mm obech over a former to get the correct Camber.after fixing the deck beams and supportsd in place around the hull ,the Shaft and motor were fitted ,the motor is an M G roadster cooling fan motor. The decks were cut from 3mm birch ply and fitted next along with the rudder made from 2 layers of .75mm ply filled with car body filler.
Next the insides of the bulwarks were lined with .75 mm ply to cover the fibreglass lay up.
