Again you are welcome Steve,

The cord used now is probably different as new synthetic cord keeps coming out. Again if you go to PJSails site they have cord there. Also if you email them Peter or Jan are very helpful. My cord is an old reel of some stuff with a green stripe running through, but I believe that has long been superseded. All of them are used in fishing, but the important thing is it does not stretch or kink Dyneema is the new stuff I believe

After a life at sea, I think I know where you are coming from  O0

So it's looking like she can't be an official Marblehead, what a shame.

Not a Marblehead but a darn good looking hull.
I retract my remark about the fin
On the later pics everything looks right.
Sailing a well made yacht for pleasure
and seeing her sail as you would like
beats racing with a yacht that would never
keep up with the latest designs.

My Marblehead is 15 years old but she sails well and I enjoy every minute sailing her.

I still have two Marblehead hulls in the shed and a full suit of swing rigs, albeit filthy ! One is a 'No Secret' which still has an old fashioned shorter keel, so it should be ok for our lake. Maybe it would be interesting to get her running again, there again by tomorrow the idea might have been forgotten !
