Hi guys I never use anything  bigger than 2mm  square.These are wired with very thin copper lacquered wire.All items are available from c/shop. A essential piece of kit when working with L E D is a L E D tester this allows me to check  my work  during building.

Component Shop 2 No. 5 mm. x 2 mm. white LED's side by side make excellent 2' fluoro's at 1:50 scale.
First photo at much reduced voltage to show LED's then at full voltage.
