Navigation lights, 21 ft pleasure launch?
« on: August 31, 2015, 03:44:37 pm »

Hi could anyone advise on some suitable fittings in about 1:12 scale for a 21' late 40's early 50's pleasure launch?
They need to be deck mounted (horizontal surface), ideally separate port/starboard, but a bow light if all else fails.
I was intending on fitting them to the cabin roof.
I've had a look around the suppliers I know, but cant seem to find anything that looks right.
Thanks
Jon

If you've not already done so have a look at the Reade Models site http://www.reademodels.com/ they do original period fittings. Look at the Ship Fittings 2 & 3 pages.

Thanks Colin, yes I has looked there, they have suitable ones (if not a little late in design) to go on to the side of the cabin, but not on top, everything else is a little working boat/ship esk.
