I will be  starting planking my Clyde puffer soon Can any one tell me what size planks I should use
And all so should I  double plank it and just one more thing what is a good glue to use thank you for your
Help

Hi Ned
Can not see what scale it is I now it is 40"long model beam 11" height to top of cabin 15"
Height to top of mast 30"

Single planking is usual for this type of hull. Plank strips are usually 2mm thick and 5mm wide. Obechi and lime woods are popular for planking but quite expensive. Balsa and pine  have also been used as substitutes.


Bluebird's Masterclass Cervia build is a very good guide to planking.
