Bit more progress today, started on the funnel, fitted the smoke generator. Also fitted the frame ribs around the rear inner hull & made the coaming to hold the rear superstructure. Starting to look a bit more like a ship now  :embarrassed:

Yeah helps keep t all in place Chris, nice n solid  :-)) . Little bit more progress, tested the smoke generator, looks pretty good  :embarrassed:  Fitted some more railings to the main gun, deffo much better than the plastic rubbish provided  O0

Looking good Dan, now that my stanchions have arrived I can get on a bit more and you are right they are very good.  The smoke generator is going well. I must do a bit more update on mine, keep up the good work :-)) :-)) :-)) :-))

Quick update, been busy fitting the bridge & all the little fiddly fittings that goes with it  %%  Also fitted funnel section, starting to look like a ship now  :-)) :-))

 I am building the LE' Mave a Flower in Irish service so much easier for detail as the knowledge base for Irish Naval Service vessels is quite low even among the Irish. I re armed with guns from: http://www.coastalcraftmodelsuk.com/accessories.php?page=1 rather nice kits in themselves and not too expensive.

Hi Chris, no not done any since Christmas, having a break  :embarrassed:  I've been building a 1/48th C47 in Ruskin Airlines livery, It was an old tv series in the 80's called Airline with Roy Marsden . Fancied a change Lol Hope your's is coming along ok. All the best Dan

Hi Chris, yes I'm still here :-)  Not done any to the Bluebell for a while, needed a break !! Been doing a few aircraft for a change :-) Finished the C47 & built another, now finishing off a Phantom, & will then resume Bluebell. Found a link that the Calypso will be restored , look in full scale ship section, great news !!!! hope yours is coming along nicely. All the best Dan
