Graupner Gearbox
« on: September 16, 2015, 01:33:54 pm »

Hi
I have acquired a Graupner shark gear box ( 1 motor 2 props type) However it is missing one of the larger 32 teeth gearings and approx diameter of 25mm with brass insert to lock onto the prop shaft..
Where is best to get a replacement ?.
Thanks

It's a long shot but try Mark at A Model World - he might just have one kicking around.

Hi BarryM
Thanks for the link, useful site if all else fails , also looks cheaper than another I found.

I have contacted Mark by mail to see if he has one lurking in his multi boxes of small stuff he has, never know..

The Units full name I have found is

Graupner Multispeed duo 500   .. Item Nr. 1979

And this is one of the 2 larger gears required for the gearing.
