Hi timw, Have a look on MMMs site
http://www.mobilemarinemodels.com/
I have a feeling that I have heard of their tug Nangee being called Nantu before. Also it looks as if their Nangee is one that doesn't have a mention in the description of any full size members of a fleet or who might have built it, a call or email to them might confirm one way or the other. Could be completely wrong, blame my age, but as you think in any case it is one of theirs worth checking with them, if their label is still inside the hull quoting that number they can tell you when they made the hull and probably who was the first owner.
All the best

Sounds fair, quite a few might buy the hull and, shall we say, do their own thing when it comes to the superstructure.
