 :-)) yes noted on that one i have placed the servo in the stern of the boat the rod length is approx 5 inches from the servo horn to the rudder bar so all aok, i was planning on placing the servo mid section but had second thoughts due to as you stated the rod length so all aok will be painting asap and will update on running in the spring thanks for the comments good sailing yaaaarg
