Yahayyyy , just got the call from model slipway she's after being posted today , should be wit me around Wed/Thu next week , decided to change her name to Kitty O'Sullivan after me late Mother-in-Law , funnily enough we have a local tug here called Gerry O'Sullivan , Mrs tinks it's a nice touch so brownie points too (Bonus)
And so the build commences ...............

OK work has started over the weekend , not going to bore ye all to tears with another Maggie build log as I'm sure yous lot have seen countless others , just the occasional pics for an update , started with assembling the various winches and the Atlas crane , all's well so far , must say the kit goes together really well
Also fitted motor prop shaft prop and kort nozzle
And weather set fair for the week .....
Graphics on their way from Callie Graphics in America for the name / number change , the girl does amazing work.......

I see you have the Occre Build station.
Lovely bit of kit and a rewarding project in itself :)

In your final photo, it appears that you have an Artillery Piece ready to repel unwanted visitors

You're absolutely right Jim, they are fabulous kits, not much flash (if any) on the metal fittings, everything is first class, brilliant instructions too, although I must say the Dremel Moto Saw is a good investment for cutting out, especially the windows....
Also I've found cheap knife sets from the Euro shop are rubbish , I eventually got a real Stanley knife (the chunky fella) with spare break off blades and it made a real difference...
Well the sun stayed out here, so the dreaded spraying commenced, typically the wind picked up but the results turned out grand...
2 coats of grey primer and 2 coats of red oxide primer.
Here's a few more pics coz I know yous lot like 'em ........
