Which is the best to use for locking the locknut against my prop?

locktight thread lock available at Halfords
your wifes nail varnish.......run like heck when she finds out

Use just a tiny drop of Locktite, if you ever hope to remove the nut one day.   ok2

Opening ANY nut after it has had Locktight on it is simple....all you do is to TIGHTEN it slightly....yes it is correct before trying to remove said nut....this WILL break the grip of the locktight thus allowing the removal of then nut or in this case the prop

make sure you get the right loctite.... there are different sorts that are different strengths

Do not use Loctite 638 ,I have seen 10 mm bolts shear trying to get the nut off . The 4&5mmnuts we use on prop shafts will hardly need much . Have a look on there web site and read the spec sheets
