WOW! what can I say?
« on: October 05, 2015, 04:26:26 pm »

Sometimes I see an oddity and think I'd like to build that.

But then I come to my senses and think even if I spent 8 hours a day for 30 years, I would have shuffled of this mortal coil before it was completed!

Is there someone somewhere sat at a design desk thinking how can I make this next ship more complicated?

Actually it is the reverse.
Someone somewhere sat and thought, "How can I make pipe laying easier?"

looks like a UK government think tank project, starts with something simple then the bean counters want to change the spec to get the most out of it.
