Bit of a setback in the painting dept.
I roughened up the smooth abs hull with some
600 wet and dry used dry and sprayed the lower hull
with red oxide primer and left it to harden for three days
before masking to spray the black topside.
after four hours removed the masking and half the
red oxide with it.
Now I am wondering whether to risk masking the black and
giving the bottom another go or strip the whole lot and start
again.
Is there an etching primer that works with abs as I have always had
wood or grp hulls and no problems.
Action supplied a wiring diagram for lighting using led green& red sidelights and
a couple of GOW lamps for masthead steaming and stern lights.
As the light boards are just stuck on the sides of the wheelhouse I am at a loss
how to get them working. Size IS a problem
5P for size Lightboard and 3mm led
Any ideas guys and ladies?
