Thought the S in ABS stood for styrene???
Dave: How did you do your lights.?
Ned

It does. The part that changes things is the Acrylonitrile Butadiene prefix.

As far as I can recall I made the lights from 3mm LEDs. The nav light boxes weren't made from brass on my original so there was no problem insulating the two leads and bending them at 90° to push through the cabin sides. I made the light on the back of the wheelhouse in the same way but I didn't fit a working masthead light.

As I have said time and time again simply washing a hull down with soap and water don't cut the mustard you NEED PANEL WIPE....grease is what has caused it without a shadow of a doubt.Gerase off your fingers/release agent.
You can use U Pol etch primer if you wish BUT I never have paint peeling problems with plastic type hulls......rub it off peel it tape over it to remove the rest of it and simply start again NO EASY FIX

Quick update, hull painting went ok .
I ordered on of those bottle top humidifiers from ebay
£1.49 inc postage was my bid and it arrived two weeks later.
I took it apart and tried it in a little dish of water.
It is to be designed to be usb powered so it is ok on a
4xAA NiMH pack which powers the puffer.
didn't expect much but was amazed
The photos should show the result of it running in
the open and with the deckhouse and fennel over it.
