Isn't this one of the most atmospheric photo's you have seen?

Taken yesterday by a Dave Davison at Aberdeen, south breakwater.

Can you see Wales from the east coast? Surely you need to be the other side looking down a bit.

That is a lovely image Brian, That Wave looks positivly malevolent especially as it looks much larger than the support vessel.

the South Pier at Aberdeen has always had big spouts of water like that Ian , the bar there is pretty nasty in an easterly breeze especially if its heading towards high tide after heavy rain making the river Dee spate.... had quite a few "interesting" travels both outbound and inbound over that bar over the years.......
