Subject: Strongbow Plans 16.10.2015 - Translation Attempts
John
1. You Strongbow plan text that suggests to be in .docx Word is really a .pdf file that embed in a Word shell and as such not editable as we saw
2. I have converted to Strongbow .pdf file into a .docx Word file but in German text
3. Parts of the text can be highlighted and pasted into Outlook, then translated to English
4. I have translated the file for the first page as below in green
5. As you see, some of the words do not have a clear translation
6. However the file size is 52.9 MB and too large to e-mail…. I attempted to ZIP the file but it only reduces to 52.8MB
7. I have copied the 52.9 MB file to a flash drive & can bring it over on Monday morning
8. From there you can copy page by page, paste the text to Outlook then translate & print it yourself
9. If you attempt to copy text next to embedded images, the software gets very confused………so you will need to be patient
Derek
