On a two stick transmitter (4 channels and up) One stick usually the left gives throttle forward and reverse and the side to side motion gives port and starboard on the rudder/s. Yes I know that the rudders are sometimes on the other stick which is my question.

Assuming you have throttle and rudders on the left stick- this is the one that is sprung to return to centre. Is there any reason that these action can't be duplicated on the right stick? In other words you have a throttle and rudder control on both sticks- not for the same motor/rudder of course but a second set in the same boat.

No, there isn't, but it begs the question why you would want to do that.

I though some of the high end radio allowed full programing of whatever you wantted on any channel on any stick including channel mimicking / reassigning ...

I'll see IF I can find a model that does...

  I have two Turnigy X9's tx and have programmed them for rudder on the left and throttle on right which I prefer,in fact you can programme any combination you want,nearly all the multi channel radio's with programmes you can do this,it is easy and it is so simple to do,just go into programmes stroll down to stick options,click enter and pick which combination you what,click enter and it is all done........Ray

  Oh no,I have enough trouble with two controls,still if I practice I might be half good at it when I am about 95,still after many years on Mayhem I realise there are some clever people on here which feels me with wonder what ever will they get up next,how do you control two rudders two ESCs without a mixer of some kind clever....Ray.

Thinking laterally and outside the box Dave. In another post GAZOU showed that gizmo for multiple control of azimuthing thrusters, which by accounts on another forum is still a work in progress and not for sale yet- even though gazou intimated it was.

I was thinking left stick could do rear thrusters, right stick could do front thrusters, four azimuthing, although connections to be ironed out as they will be constant 360degree rotation.

Ideally it would be four independantly controlled thrusters- if there is already a tx out there that could manage that all the better!

do this on my graupner bermpohl but just to make it difficult

Left stick is for Throttle for the main boat and rudder of the little boat
right it throttle for the little boat and rudder for the main boat

make it a bit easier to control. even better when some one ask for a go, they some hand the transmitter back
