Ooh, another interesting build to keep an eye on. Once you get past the funny armament layout, the Nelsons were quite attractive ships.

I shall look forward to following your build, I've always liked these ships and I'm tempted to make a diorama at 1/700 scale over the winter.

Are you building it as a static or RC conversion? The after market manufacturers have gone to town on this 1/200 model are you tempted with any of it?

Pictures to follow next week, but I need a bit of advice. Which is the best glue to stick photo etch parts? At the moment I am using Tamiya extra thin cement but seems to take ages for the deck railings to stick

Hi bookmark having checked with Pontos models for a future project they use locktight401 superglue for etch parts.Lots of super glues out there pays your money and takes your choice.Hope this helps.

I've had a lot of luck with Loctite Gel when sticking etched parts

I can concur with the use of Loctite Gel. I've always used Gel superglues as it gives that extra second or two for final positioning over the liquid forms of superglues.

A sharpened cocktail stick is also useful to apply the glue to the finer detail.
