I was quite looking forward to going sailing this morning, but when I got up and looked out of the window well it was a very foggy morning that greeted me,so no sailing today as it was so bad I could see the end of the garden and I don't fancy driving in weather like this,so it's implement plan "B" which is doing some work in shed on a boat I am building for grandson for Christmas,I should have known that you get fog this time of the year and it is always bad here as I live by a big common,is it foggy where you live and how bad is it and did it stop you getting to the lake?,maybe you are hardier than me and nothing stops you.......Ray.

Not just London Sparkey!
I travelled 20 miles to Eastbourne to have a sail in fine sunshine but light winds. Half an hour later the fog arrived and lasted cold and wet for the next 2 hours till I got fed up and left. Had a nice sail though, despite that gull attacking the ship!

We were camped out one weekend and I was the only one that got
up early enough to catch a bit of mist.
On the other hand, it is a bit unnerving to know there is a bulk freighter ahead of
you on radar, and not be able to see it.
