any body missed it is on again tonight channel no 19 at 19.oo hrs and the same channel tomorrow friday at 20.oo hrs pq 17 artic convoy   enjoy

Took some finding. Its the Yesterdays channel on Sky tuners. Both of them set to record :-))

Watched it but none the wiser. The new evidence was just conjecture from so called experts. Compelling but unprovable.

  solved the crew got off the boat at some island the boat drifted off leaving crew etc  stranded on the island ..well just a thought  gordon

That's basically what they came up with, one of the Azores islands. I did like the bit about how the ship had 5 extra feet in hull depth added, ie it could be loaded with more cargo but this sat above the waterline making it top heavy. Also used to leak badly due to sprung hull planking, but the bilge pumps were prone to blocking.
