this very futuristic vessel is in port at Hartlepool at the moment stood watching her loading wind turbine parts and cable drums on board , very impressive with its crane upright well worth alook for those who are into these vessels

This vessel or one very much like her has been in and
out of the Humber recently.
We are seeing more and more like this as the Humber
Evolves as the Wind farm Capital of Europe.

Seen that beasty on it's visits to Hartlepool/Teesport. Agree it would make for an interesting but challenging build. What scale, 1/75, 1/50 maybe?

Here's a ship that is almost a twin. I was thinking of making the Skandi Constructor (ex Sarah) my next build. But at my favoured scale of 1/72 it comes out almost 6ft in length way too big. So I looked around and the Skandi Iceman came up next, that's a more favourible 42 inches
The Iceman as you can see is very much like the Siem Daya. The trend at the moment is for huge anchor handlers, rather than the smaller supply boats that were a staple of the industry for years.
