Fitting Billings Boat stantions
« on: July 31, 2007, 09:42:16 am »

Billings Boat stantions are a little bit more expensive but are well worth the extra money.

I mark out the position of the stantions and drill the holes, glue each one in position making sure the holes are running correctly ,I pass a very small drill though the hole and line it up with the flow of the rail.
glue in all the rails and leave to set.

I use flight cable for the wire, it passes through the holes quite nicely.

Flight trace wire can also be obtained from fishing tackle shops in different thickness's. Be carefull though of the trace wire which is covered in PTFE ! This type can only be super glued.
