Has anybody used these? Looks like they could be useful in several types of boilers.

Buy from a reputable source and treat it like any boiler as regards safety and you would probably save yourself lots of annealing:O)

If it is soft soldered then avoid like the plague.

Guys....if you read the specification.....they are externally finned heat exchanger tube elements

1. Hot water internal fluid path to an external air cooled blast/forced air over the fins for cooing the water ?   :o....
2. Steam source internal fluid path to an external water chamber for heating the surrounding water %)

I would suspect the external fins would not be suitable for the direct flame from a gas jet  >>:-(
