Permission to come aboard
« on: January 17, 2016, 12:01:36 pm »

Greetings All
Phil from Poole here.  Been a guest viewer of this site for some time, and thought it was time to wander up the gangway and come aboard. Been a modeller for ever, mainly military armour, aviation, and figures. But turn my hand to most things.  Always fancied a largish scale ship and through the miracle that is Fleabay the dock yard currently have three 'projects' on the slips;
A 1/72 Matchbox 'Flower' bought in running condition but stripped down to component 'modules' for systems upgrade and refurb of finish
A 1/96 Deans Marine HMS Cossack as a fitted hull with all components in their packaging
And the biggy,
A 1/96 HMS Illustrious currently A hull, all Simar mouldings, and drive train, and loads of reference documentation.

The Flower will be first up between other projects. Hope to have it on the water in the spring

Welcome aboard Fireboot.  You have some interesting projects on the go there, and I look forward to seeing how they progress.  If you have any questions there are a host of experts on here who I am sure will be pleased to provide answers and any advice you may need.

Cheers,   Bob K
