RNLI-Y-Boat
« on: August 01, 2007, 07:53:24 PM »

in preperation of starting the Tamar i ordered the Y-Boat from Speedline. Thursday lst i think. it turned up just as i was leaving for work tuesday. good omen. havnt done a kit bash for a long time, and vacumm mouldings for even longer. it is bigger than i thought, brings the size of the Tamar a bit more realistic.
any way, read the destuctions, thats a first, and followed Adrians sugestions on maring out the pontoons. not quite as easy as it looked but after a few attempts did it, i hope. wont know till i start cutting.
just a few photos of the start.
