A true masterclass in building with styrene...
« on: January 25, 2016, 04:11:20 am »

My old mate Andy (username on here : tattooed) has just sent me these pics of his latest work, built for an exhibition in Dubai. It's a 1/24th scale model of an MRI Scanner, and as near an exact replica of the full size as it's possible to build. He works for a company based in Bristol who make the full sized versions, the model was commissioned by the management to go out to Dubai as part of a sales pitch.

Take a look at the amount of detail Andy has put into this superb model...all the lighting is by fibre optics.

I thought it was in a box intially until I saw the logo and decoration. Brilliant work. Very smooth and clean looking.
