Model boat restoration
« on: January 25, 2016, 07:43:52 pm »

I've been given a small child's sailing boat used in the family for many years and would like to try and get it restored but finding it really hard to find someone I could send it too? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I would like to use it and pass it on to my daughter.

Hello Caroline and welcome to Mayhem.

If it is possible, could you post some pictures with description of the boat please.  We have loads of members who love deciphering new models and I'm sure you would get a lot of help.

To add the pictures, just click on the Attachments section below your next letter and select a suitable picture stored on your computer.  It has to be a  'reduced in size'  picture to be able to load into our forum.
There is advice on this matter in this section

All the best.

Many thanks Ken for your reply.
I'm having some trouble uploading some photos as I'm working from an iPad, I can't seem to downsize the photos. I'll try and have a look into it and hopefully get something on the post.
Kind regards

hello again,

If you have a Photobucket account then you can post them there and then reference them back here and the pictures will be resized by them.

Hope this helps
