Mines second hand from Cash Converters, unboxed but had never been used. I just popped in and told the manager what I wanted and it didnt take long at all. Cheap as chips.

i have had a delta for many years it gives good service will cut up to 2"
it also uses blades without pin so the holes you have to drill can be smaller

I have a very nice one made by Grizzly, a Chinese made, US marketed brand.  Very high quality, not too expensive.

Let the blade do the cutting with no sideways pressure on it.
Practise
When cutting straight lines, run a Stanley knife ( other bloodletting tools available) on your mark first.
Find out whether it and you cut better to the left or right of the line.

Always thought to myself buy cheap nine times out of ten will cost more in the long run! So I always buy the the best from the beginning. That way should last and you only buy it once  O0 O0

Try a little more tension - might be all it needs.

tried more tension, different pieces of scrap wood and this saw still pulls to the left.

as for buying new blades are they universal fit ?

any links to blades which would fit the lodel i bought

i know it lists blades on the advert but they seem the cheap ones

Hi some years ago I bought a Rexon 2 speed scroll saw works great and I have cut 3mm dural as well as wood.  I find that a scroll saw needs a 'puffer' to keep the cutting area clear and this is good.
I have a Hegner which is at the top end of the market it is good but so far it is no better than the Rexon which cost £100.

Try this , have a read through it might help .  http://scrollsawvideo.com/scrollsaw-tips/  .
If your saw is like mine ( PRO from B&Q bought second hand it will never in its life cut a straight kerf ) I just compensate when I use it , it's a pain I know. But after all thy are made for cutting curves mostly , a band saw is more designed to cut straight and thy can be a pain if the tracking rollers are out . See note 4 down the page !,,
