Data about the full-scale vessel that you are modeling
« on: February 17, 2016, 11:26:05 AM »

I found this cool:

If you know the IMO# of the vessel, of which you are building a model,
try this link to an insurance data base:

http://www.veristar.com/portal/veristarinfo/equasis?IMO=

Simply add your particular IMO# (just the number, dropping the "IMO"

I found the records of owner, port of registry, flag, dates of all surveys and modifications, thus confirmation of the whereabouts of my vessel, UREKA XIV. The database does not seem to contain pictures or details of the modifications, but interesting nonetheless.
