Welcome to the forum and the hobby.
It is a fairly "standard" vac form kit involving some careful looking, marking and cutting.  With care it will give a nice looking model that works well.  Being vac form rather than pressure moulded like Airfix kits, there is a god deal of fabrication to do, but the results can be worth it.
