I think I would rather spend my time trying to understand Nuclear Physics or Deep space Astronomy than do that to a model.

After all, wouldn't it all be painted over in any case when finished!

Beautiful work though, if you have the patience, but as said life at our age is just too short.

A few years ago we had a similar thread site with beautiful brass riveted construction in model section of a steam vessel

I would suspect the process in constructing such model work would involve a high level of automated miniature punching equipment

One would suggest Museum quality for display and never to be painted.....I too would not have the patience or interest in such a subject, however would sit in awe at the construction..........[nor would I attempt to count the rivets  {-) ....]..........

The builder or constructer would still get 10/10 for amazing work............Derek

and there was this gentleman building an externally EXACT scale model of the Titanic...I don't know if he ever finished....beautiful micro machine work
