What's the best way of preparing resin mouldings for painting?

Clean off any flash and fettle the sprues and any blemishes with tools and abrasives etc. Wash them in warm soapy water to remove any release agant and finger grease.

Let dry and then a good way is to prime it with spray primer before getting the paints out.
