Arkmodels
« on: March 14, 2016, 04:52:32 pm »

Hi all. I have been looking at the arkmodels web site, is there a distributer in the UK for this company? I cant seem to find one. I really fancy the type 7c u boat in 1/48th scale, not to sure about parting with my card details at the moment to a company that I know very little about. Hope this makes sense. Cheers all.

There are two Ark models, one in china and another in I believe Russia:-

the one in China has had some bad reviews in the past with people ordering things and not receiving them

Chequered reputation. If you decide to go with them, i would make sure you use a protected method of payment, so if they fail to keep their end of the bargain, you have some comeback.

Trumpeter have a kit in the works expected sometime soon. However it's not entirely clear at present if it will come as a complete hull, or sectioned.

Mind you I can think of one or two people in the model submarine world that ought to be sectioned! :P
