Yup, back for good now. Also the decoder modules are about to come back into stock.
The radios are now liveried up as Ripmax Futaba, rather than Robbe Futaba. Main difference, they no longer have the expanded scale voltmeter on the front, now replaced with two LEDs. Oh, and the prices have gone back up again <:(

An ad in the February 2018  "Model Boats" shows that Howes Models (www.howesmodels.co.uk) are stocking the Futaba/Robbe F14 4 channel set on 40 Mhz. Single stick set including Rx for £151.99.

Could be of interest for model submariners looking for 40Mhz sets. (Although 458 Mhz openLRS is a good alternative nowadays.)

I didn't know about limited time only -I believed there was stock elsewhere in the UK of 40MHz.  In the latest Model Boats mag, there's a short article that they're starting to supply them with 2.4GHz modules also now.

2.4GHz aside I'm not so sure about prices going up that much.  I seem to remember paying not much less for mine something like 15 years ago.  Prices haven't gone up that much considering!?

....'tis a nice radio -I really like mine.  No inscentive yet to change mine.

....whoops, my bad, just noticed it was a thread resurrection  %)
