We stopped on the Caen canal last Sunday for lunch, just near Pegasus bridge, and these came drifting by!

That bridge seems to have a very long "unsupported/unbraced" deck.
That's one fierce looking boat, you wouldn't want that looming up behind you in the rear view mirrors would you!

cantelever monocoque, probably doesnt need to be mega braced. there are some of a similar nature in Birkenhead by the docks. one esp by cammel lairds, (where Pacific Pintail) was moored
