We stopped on the Caen canal last Sunday for lunch, just near Pegasus bridge, and these came drifting by!

That bridge seems to have a very long "unsupported/unbraced" deck.

That's one fierce looking boat, you wouldn't want that looming up behind you in the rear view mirrors would you!  :o

cantelever monocoque, probably doesnt need to be mega braced.  there are some of a similar nature in Birkenhead by the docks.  one esp by cammel lairds, (where Pacific Pintail) was moored
