Windows...... I will have a go at them tomorrow John, I hate doing windows but they will have to be done. I have decided to change the look of the wheelhouse a bit and yet still undecided as to fitting a bow thruster. :-))

Hi Paul, yes its a nice handy size my idea is I can carry this around as and when I have bad days with my leg. But as you can see I have a long way to go before this one gets to see any water.  :-)) :-)) :-))

my take on these models, does it matter how long it takes if you enjoy it just relax and it takes as longs as it takes

I've just started a restoration on a smit rotterdam where the paint was all cracked infact after sanding it back this morning it turns out it was the filler originally done 38 years ago that was cracked anyway all sanded this morning back to bare wood, and currently the sealer is drying

Thanks Dave,
It won't be as nice as yours, I'm not as good at modelling as most on here :( but I will do a reasonable job (I hope  {:-{ ) It's a bigger job than I should have started with as I've not built a boat for 25+ years but I got a nice sized boat very cheap so fingers crossed.

Thanks Paul

Look forward to all the updates on your boat

Hi all, just a quick update...... I have not done anymore on the tug due to me getting a new false leg and at the moment it's quite painful to wear. But hopefully things will settle down soon I hope and I can get back to working on it soon.

Regards Dave.

Hi.
Like your thread on this build you have answered a lot of my questions before I need to ask them.
I am just getting back into model boating.
With limited time and only the garden to use as a workshop for larger jobs, do you think this is a good project ?
It looks fairly straight forward as a build and reasonably affordable with fittings ect included with the hull.
Of coarse I know running gear motors and so forth will be extra.
