There is always next year Ken.

And I thought John's yacht was graceful and then you put those films of Rodney up! Two beautiful vessels.

Carl, I was loitering around your stand on Saurday morning when you were launching a ferry. I was going to come back on the Sunday and have a natter but an early departure for us both made that a no go!

Next year we shall have a chinwag.

Klunk, I put Bob's Agincourt hull in the water on Saturday afternoon for Ron to fill with an obscene amount of lead:O)

And it didn't sink (makes a change for me), so no salvage rights.  A big weight 'till I complete this one.

Hello,

Well, it all happened again !!!.
Wicksteed  could not be pre-planned, an Event that is SO enjoyable just happens !!.
Meeting old friends and spending Time with them, laughing and joking is beyond planning.
Saying Good Bye at the end was quite emotional !.
I had a wonderful time - - - roll on the next one.

Really happy you lads  had the Wicky Weekend.
Would have loved to be there but I have to blame
SWIMBO's parents as she was born on the 27/5/??
Last time I was there we originated the game of
Gazebo Levitation (2010) and it came back this
year %%
I amazed you have a moan from a visitor, Rain Hail
Showers of frogs, it is the Meeting of the Year :-))
P.S. for ?? Read 47, so Milestone 70.

What a great weekend! Thanks to everyone involved, but especially Ron Dean and Klunk for helping to sort out my boat and Steamboat Phil for his generosity.

Do make contact if you are in the Scottish Borders area. Otherwise, see you all next year!

Ah well, another Mayhem Weekend ended and what a great time we had. I would like to thank all those who make this event such a hit. Nick and the Wicksteed gang, the irrepressible Klunk for his boundless energy, the Luton boys, Phil and his lovely Apprentice, Jaydee, Bob K, Ron Dean, all the clubs who make the time to attend and last but not least, Martin and Mrs and Miss Mayhem for all their hard work.
We travel over 700 mies to attend this event and for canny Scots like us, to part with our well earned groats to attend year in, year out, is testament to its huge success.
See you again next year, my fellow Mayhemers, I'm looking forward to it already :-))

A really great weekend - glad I went both days this time! Thank you to all the Mayhemers and Clubs that support it & make it a success.

Great to catch up with fellow enthusiasts (the usual suspects...) & meet some new boaters!

Brilliant to see the collection of 1/96 scale warships out on Sunday Morning, need to work on our fleet manouevers a bit though

Already put in the request to C in C Home Fleet for day release next year  ok2

Well the apprentice and I are now back in Normandy, what a great weekend we had, OK so after a little breeze on the Saturday afternoon we will once again require another gazebo, but hey, every 3 years isn't that bad. It was as always great to catch up with old friends and make some new ones this year. from the Friday night fish and chips right through to a few drinks with lads north of the boarder ( and the interlopers....not invited) on the Sunday night fun was had.
Some great models both on and off the water and lots of great banter with all, if I missed boring you on steam I will find you next year  {-)
Thanks to all involved but especially Little Miss Mayhem, Mrs Mayhem.....oh and him Mayhem
And all others who have already been mentioned, thank you.
And of course Steamboatapperntice who traveled on the roof so I could get the v important Mayhem tea urn in the car..... O0
Looking forward to next year....... :-))
