Hull Adhesive / Sealer Finish

I'm a little out of touch with modern adhesives so what would you recommend for the construction of a Balsa/Liteply yacht hull (Gremlin by Glynn Guest) and would Z.Poxy be OK to seal the finished hull. Then paint with Halfords ??. This advice and any other re the construction of Gremlin would be most welcome. :)

Any waterproof glue, eg balsa glue, aliphatic resin, titebond would do (others are available).  I've used z-poxy with Halford's paints and have had no problems.
