Yes folks.........the hulk of Captain Cooks HMS Endeavour has been discovered in the depths of Rhode Island .....the home of the Americas Cup

Really marvellous what one can do with an old coal collier....[The Earle of Pembroke]  %)

Did Cookie know what he was about to start?  {-).........Derek

Maybe!
It might be one of 5 wrecks or maybe 13 that have been found none of which appear to have been identified yet.
If it is identified I wonder if they will let any of it come to Oz after we took the mug from them?

That's an interesting article. I like the entrepreneurship of trying to sell it back to the Royal Navy, who refused because of its age and condition.

No problem, give it a new name and a lick of paint and try again - Bingo! Gullible RN buy it {-)

How does that happen?

Ned

The font size is listed at 2 points and should be at least 12.

This happens quite a bit these days on Mayhem.  Perhaps, when you see it in preview  (only 20 mins allowed for viewing ) you can modify it then.  ?

That's it Derek.
Must have happened because I cut and pasted
part of Brian's post instead of using the quote button.
It looks one of our kind mods has fixed the op :-))
