has any one else lost channel no 71  free view have retuned three times on both tvs but cannot get it    gordon

Freeview channel 71 is still working but not all the time. The motoring programme is no longer on 71.
Judge Judy was on channel 71 last night.

well it is not working on my two lg 42 inch hd tvs  channel put 71 on goes back to the channel you were watching before

I think what you can receive on Freeview depends on which transmitter you are receiving your signal from. They don't all support the same number of channels.

Freeview channels are forever changing, especially the minor ones. With many boxes and tvs you will need to do retunes a few times a year to keep up to date (which can be a pain as you often lose your recording schedule when this is done).

On a related note Channel 5 has just introduced HD on Freeview (and Freesat), so if you want that you may need to do something.
