Taking care of rechargeable batteries question.
« on: May 14, 2016, 05:29:30 pm »

I have a question about how to care for them.
I have 2 sets for the tx and the rx, should they be completely discharged before recharging each time?

I take it you mean the small A or AA NiMh rechargeables.

You can charge them up from part discharged, but best use a low current charger designed for the job that will stop when they are fully charged.  Most chargers the light will go out when they reach optimum voltage.

They are AA NiMh, matched sets for each set of 12.
Thank you for that, was never sure.
I remember the ones I used in the 1980s that had to be completely discharged and stored fully charged or they developed a memory and became useless after a short time.
