motor for a live steam tug

Hi, i am about to break up my live steam tug which is 54 inches long and very heavy wooden hull
the steam engine is a large one with a stuart turner 4000 boiler...twin engine with reverse etc,remote controlled, and in very nice clean condition, however i am about to change the engine to an electric one to make it easier for me to handle and could do with some help with engine sizes etc..the tug weighs near 25kgs

You need a large brushless motor as used by aeromodellers who make large planes . I suggest trying Hobby King for starters Followed by Model shops that sell boats.Mantua models and Sussex Model Shops/ Supplies ( SMS )   Also have a google

Thank you John, i will try the sites you sugested, [ but not google i hate using that ] the tug is on ebay at the moment as a working live steam boat but ends this weekend...thnka again   alan
