Working mechanical rowing boat
« on: June 07, 2016, 08:13:56 am »

Good Morning All

A fellow club member (no computer) is looking to build a mechanical rowing boat using something like an Action man with the linkage as
a power source. Is anyone aware of drawings/plan that he might obtain to build this craft.

Thanks

Mike

Hello Mike

Sorry, can't help you with plans etc, but these video clips show an excellent working example seen regularly at Black Park.

I think there was once a set of plans in the MAP [now x list plans] catalogue.....see a model boats mag for address which had the workings for a boat using an action man plus the mechanicals on how to do this.

worth a look.      http://www.myhobbystore.co.uk/browser/5415/x-list-plans
