Hi looks great dmsywg!
But it's not like a 'real Aziz' like Tug Kenny's:-

Sorry Ken, couldn't resist!

I could only run it for arround 30 minutes as a storm was brewing and it was getting dark.
ALso I will have to make the rear deck semi permanent and put down a silicon seal since some water did get in. I have had to move esc's etc forward so that they are
under the main superstructure.  I guess I could allways go slower BUT who wants that!
But boy does she look good through binoculars when you cant see the shore etc.,

an idea, get 4 rudder horns and fit them through bolts with a spring, so when you want to place them in, you push, turn and release, they should hold the deck down, either that, or epoxy 4 nuts to a strip and use recessed bolts.  with some thin draft seal around the edge of the gap. that way she should remain in place if she does roll. I use captive-nuts and m4 pins to hold down the top deck of the najade.

I had to make some modifications to the rear deck due to a little water getting in.
I inserted 4 snap bolts but prior I laid down a silicon seal all round the edge of the deck, laid down some wax paper on top and then bolted down the deck.
SO i now have as great seal and water can run over the deck with no problem ( or so I hope).  Will be sailing again this Wednesday if no rain..

Hi guys

The Yorkshireman is mine.....Dave is responsible for the wonderful Aziz.....he's a new addition to our small club here in the wilds of Manitoba...and a welcome addition at that.....he is a very talented and keen builder and has been an inspiration to our small band.

Yorkshireman has done me yeoman service for 10 years.......she has a couple Buhler motors but don't ask me what kind....I just don't know. She's in need of a refit and repair but has been a great model.  Not too speedy....nice scale speed.

How you have sealed rear deck? If you finished tug as per Model Slipway manual, hull must be full of water.

She looks a little low in picture 0124. How did it turn out? Any leaks?

On Kenny's tug I can not see how is sealed rear deck. I am thinking to purchase this tug, but with out good idea how to seal it, I will buy something else. On the pictures hull is around one inch or less over water level, large opening in the deck is to dangerous.I have no any friends, who is skindiver

Stavros.  You thing, I have build "box" over rear deck? I thing, real Aziz looks different, because rear deck is flat, with out any box construction.
